Record money

Private loans

Note money lent or borrowed between people and keep track of remaining principal.

Record the starting amount

Use Private loans to choose whether you lent or borrowed money. You can record an actual account movement, or enter an existing outstanding balance without creating a new movement.

Follow repayments

Open the loan card to record a partial or full repayment using an account. Kakeibo updates the remaining amount and preserves the timeline. For money you lent but no longer expect to recover, you can mark an amount as written off and include a reason.

This is a simple principal record, not a lending contract. Kakeibo does not calculate interest, amortization, tax treatment or legal debt status. Different currencies are shown separately.
